I mean, fair, I guess, but it's not like anyone else has used these books in a long time, from the look of it. Who knows if this place'll even keep existing after we leave? Might as well get what fun we can out of it while it's here.

Anyway - yeah, you're right. Always a con for a pro. I liked the sense of it, though. It felt like I was going to find a treasure chest right around the corner.
