how big is this dog because if it's big enough to knock him over he is in fact going to run the other way because MAYBE THIS IS MURDER MONDAY, he doesn't trust this place not to kill him off schedule after ishtar last week!!!

if it's more moderately sized he's... still going to take a few steps back because he is really just not much of an animal person even though this dog is giving off very friendly vibes ]

he bounds up, though - he does pause when totty takes a few steps back, tilting his head. whines...]

[i think this dog should get a translator too in order to be fair

anyway, yeah, he does react - he lifts his head, and stands up, tilting his head. and then he looks at totty, whines, and starts going towards the yelling. which sounds like karlach, actually, so yes, familiar yelling.]

[ oh good. going to follow this dog then...! ]

[well, the dog leads him off in that direction, sticking close like he intends to protect totty.

the good news is: karlach is here and can be easily seen in the woods!

the bad news is she is being pursued by three giant spiders.]

but hm! yikes! it may be alpha week but he's not a complete idiot, so he is just going to keep hanging back and watching this for a moment.

does it look like she's actually in danger... dog-sized spiders can't be that big to her, right? ]

she's running from them and yelling for something called scratch, so maybe she's in danger, but it looks like she's looking for something.]
