My point is that you — Karlach, minus this dumb monster who should stay out of the conversation — shouldn't be including yourself as a significant factor in this equation. The cult chose to activate your monster and incite it to kill someone. You were just handcuffed to that monster and along for the shitty ride.

Which, like— it fucking sucks to have your agency taken away like that, so looking at it that way may not feel any better! But you shouldn't be looking at it as you hurting someone. The cult's always been the villain here, so let's just take this out on them.
