When I spoke to Scien after, some of the things he said didn't really make sense, even taking account the flaws of his technology. The breakdown doesn't really occur until they're overstimulated, but nothing would have done that to him until after he attacked Dahut-san.

So... what made him do it? He said he just suddenly had an urge to examine his memory bank, out of nowhere.
