There wasn't even any evidence against the target of the hour, though, was there? That princess herself said as much. But because no one had anything concrete to latch onto, they latched onto the one thing they did have: a name. Funny, considering they weren't even a match for the hand.
Everyone started leaning toward that whole team at the end because of the orange glitter thing, and then they were the person on that team who seemed to be acting off and had a questionable injury.
[ never mind the fact that the glitter and hand were the same case so not matching the hand size should have taken them off the glitter suspect list... and of course oocly dw did NOT fucking help because we couldn't even reload threads to look at evidence again :meowno: ]
If there's something on you specifically that's suspicious, that makes it look like you must be guilty of something regardless of what other evidence shows, and people are more willing to vote for someone based on that than take a one in eight chance on picking the right person out of a pool.
It wouldn't be such an irritation if they didn't get so hand-wringing and guilty about it afterwards. If you make an idiotic choice, you just have to live with the consequences. Rather, if you're going to make choices based on little more than a hunch or someone pointing fingers to the smallest scrap of anything suspicious, you should be ready for those consequences from the start.
[But he shrugs because he truly doesn't care, his ass doesn't even vote right.]
