There wasn't even any evidence against the target of the hour, though, was there? That princess herself said as much. But because no one had anything concrete to latch onto, they latched onto the one thing they did have: a name. Funny, considering they weren't even a match for the hand.

If there's something on you specifically that's suspicious, that makes it look like you must be guilty of something regardless of what other evidence shows, and people are more willing to vote for someone based on that than take a one in eight chance on picking the right person out of a pool.
