anyway, todomatsu looks... uncomfortable after that memory ends. not nervous or anything, but just like he was looking at something that was a little more familiar than he liked. getting lured in with the promise of a nice time by someone you at least kind of thought you could trust — though there was nothing sexy or romantic about his connection, it was just fucking atsushi — only to be handed off to someone else as a meal and left with nothing but regret and resentment afterward when you wake up to find that though the episode may have ended, the blank tape is still running.

There have just been a couple of instances where someone got their revenge and it was like, well, that was cool, but unfortunately everything still sucks just as much as it did before, so it ends up feeling like kind of a letdown.
