[ he did! unfortunately it wasn't like, a lot, because there was a line for the thing. he's at least back in his own clothes instead of the dress (rip), and the cuts on his face and hands aren't bleeding anymore. there's a set of crutches leaning against the wall next to his seat.

his eyes are still very red when he looks up, and he's a little dazed. ]

[ oof. i love when we all get super beat up and then there’s a line for the healing pods if we have them. we always go harder when there’s a healing pod. ]

You look like you need another round in the medbay, when there’s some space for it. [ just say it like it is, shu. ]

[ sighs, which then turns into some pretty rough coughing for a moment. he covers his mouth and pauses for a few seconds afterward before speaking again. ]

They really should have more than two for a crew this big. Stupid.

… I’m not sure they expected this many to be injured at one time. For a transport and delivery ship, injuries are probably minor and few.

Doesn’t help us now though. [ you’re all so beaten up. put through the blender. ] What happened?

Well, these extra missions are a little more than transport and delivery, as it turns out. So if they're going to bring four people on them, they should at least have four pods in case something goes wrong.

[ he doesn't look especially eager to answer that, and crosses his arms, looking off to the side. ]

We were supposed to infiltrate this fancy event and retrieve some item from it. Underestimated what violent assholes the plants were going to be, unfortunately.

Makes sense. It ended up being eight people overall, but the times were staggered so all of you could’ve had longer in the pods that way.

[ everyone hopped in and hopped out so fast. ]

… Ah. [ wait ] The plants were violent assholes, not the people?

The people were arguably much bigger assholes, but the plants were what attacked us. So yeah.

That was one of their favorite things to do, though. The event was like, if the Met Gala livestreamed mass executions.
