...Well, there are kind of a lot of cat monsters in mythology, you know? So I don't think it's impossible, at least. [ ... ] And it wouldn't be quite as messed up as someone choosing to kill a dog on their own.

...Yeah. It'd be pretty screwed up if it were some stupid dog versus cat thing. Pickles himself didn't mind cats, but I know that doesn't mean anything when it comes to the monsters.

I don't think there's any scenario where it isn't seriously screwed up.

I kind of wonder with Akabane... if maybe that one didn't have anything to do with the monsters. We've all seen how volatile he can be. Maybe he tried to go after someone and got the tables turned on him.

Maybe? I mean, he's always been one, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was the case this time too.

I can't outright write out the possibility... anything can happen. Possessions... change of heart.

But for what it's worth, he did want to be stopped when he had the uncontrollable urge to attack Yuffie.
