as much as he's been crushing on her this whole time, he hasn't made that much of an effort to really get to know her, and hadn't expected this heavy of a backstory... though in retrospect, maybe he should have picked up on some hints in her profile. ]

Ah...

[ he doesn't know what to say when he sees memories like this; the feelings he's gradually becoming acquainted with through others' experiences here are ones he never had any reason to feel before. it's almost embarrassing how stupid and inconsequential his own memories seem in comparison. ]
